Forging parts refer to the processing method that metal is deformed by impact force or pressure between upper and lower anvil iron or forging die
Mine equipment forging manufacturer: forging parts refer to the processing method that metal is deformed by impact force or pressure between upper and lower anvils or forging dies. It can be divided into free forging and model forging. If the shape of the workpiece is the only requirement, forging is only one of the processing technology. However, in many cases, forging is the only way to obtain the necessary mechanical properties. In order to obtain all the advantages of forging process, the requirements for its performance must be indicated in the forging process specification. The process specification shall include requirements for material standards as well as additional requirements for any one item, with possible exceptions. In addition, the minimum tensile properties required and the maximum and minimum hardness at the specific location of the part shall be indicated. During free forging, the processed metal deforms under pressure between the upper and lower anvils, and the metal can flow freely in all directions of the horizontal plane, so it is called free forging.
The equipment and tools used in free forging are universal, and the quality of forging parts varies. However, the shape and size of the free forging parts mainly depend on the operation technology of the forging workers, which requires high technical level of the forging workers, high labor intensity, low productivity, low precision of forgings, large machining allowance, and can not obtain more complex shapes. So it is mainly used for single piece, small batch production and repair work. For large forgings, free forging is the only production method.
